Our Service

Assist Buddy provides non-medical, door-to-door accompaniment and helper services for elders. We are not a medical, nursing, emergency, or transportation network company. Our buddies provide assistance and companionship; they do not provide clinical care.

User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information to help us plan safe accompaniment (addresses, timing, special needs).
• Ensure that any medical needs are handled by qualified professionals—not by our buddies.
• Comply with applicable laws and venue rules during outings.

Scheduling & Cancellations

Scheduling is subject to availability. Cancellations or changes should be communicated as early as possible. Any fees or notice windows will be specified during booking.

Safety

We vet buddies for empathy and reliability and provide guidance for safety and elder sensitivity. Nevertheless, you acknowledge that outings involve inherent risks, and you agree to use reasonable care. Please inform us of any mobility constraints or accessibility considerations in advance.

Fees & Payment

Fees (if applicable) will be shared during request or booking. Taxes or third‑party charges may apply. By confirming a booking, you authorize the applicable charges.

Prohibited Uses

• Illegal activities or attempts to misuse the Services.
• Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe conduct toward buddies or others.
• Providing false information that could compromise safety.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Assist Buddy will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.

App Store / Google Play Requirements

• If you access our Services via a mobile app, you agree to comply with the respective store policies, including Google Play Developer Program Policies.
• Any in‑app disclosures, data usage, and permission requests will be clear and limited to what’s necessary for core functionality (for example, location for pickup/drop‑off if applicable).

Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
